Basic layout of the scene, more detail to come.
It is made from a single plane that had been moulded as the floor, a sphere for the barracks, two cubes for the factories and some cylinders for tanks and chimneys.

Added more details and colour.
I hollowed out the buildings, added more detail: supports, re-enforcement, pipes, barrels etc.
I also added colours to it to finish it off.

I felt it was a little quick, but i still think it worked.
I think it went ok the the short amount of time given.
I feel that if i had more time i could have put in a lot more detail. More assets, textures, a larger environment and so on.
In future i will attempt to do more with the time given to me.

Theory

I researched the general look of sci-fi mars locations, with lots being industrialised to an extent.

The main inspiration would be the game "red faction: guerrilla" and its martian landscape.

HA12 - Task 2 - Setting Research and Ideas Generation

For the setting I chose a forest. It is meant to be "An enchanted, mystical environment full of fantastical creatures, mysterious happenings and eerily exciting discoveries."
